

Context of the project
At the end of the third year of my Bachelor in Game Design and Producing, as our final project, we were tasked to develop a small game in 4 months.
Intentions
-
Horror game based on a sect and on a monster with an insectoid appearance

Play with the madness of the main character : create a feeling of vulnerability and allow us to use it during events or during the navigation

Immerse the player inside a secluded, oppressive and hostile environment

Puzzles to alternate between calm and stressful moments
-
Linear navigation because of the map structuration (corridor, rockslide, etc)
-
No marker inside the game, the player is oriented by the clues he finds
-
The narration is told partially by the environment

QA Testing - First board

At first, we began to use Coda to establish a test board. We took the board from Cryptid and improved it.
It was mainly Functionality tests, especially ad-hoc tests with many regressive tests
QA Testing - Second board

After a month using Coda, we decided to switch to Mantis to report our bugs, as it was a logiciel who has proven its efficacity.

The tests weren't impacted by this shift but the reports were improved.
